integrity

i keep hearing
that word.
it's following
me. wholeness,
honesty, doing
the right thing,
taking a moral
stand and not
wavering. staying
true and loyal.
it's a rare
commodity these
days. principled
and fair.
and i have
fallen so short
so often, but have
awakened. i have
the dictionary
wide open, not
unlike my heart
at the moment.
