clean house

it's good to have
a clean house.
with the debris
and trash, bagged
and sitting at
the curb, the windows
wiped and sparkling,
the rugs vacuumed,
the floors now
with a shine on
them and holding
light. it's good to
see the dust gone,
the dirt swept away,
the beds made,
and all the clutter
gone. it's nice
to sit down in
the big chair and
see everything in
order, everything
in it's place. yes.
confession is good
for the soul.
