clogged up,

the broken spigot

turn.

failed washers,

water heaters no longer

working. i'm

tired

of the plumber

arriving

with his wrenches,

the key

under the mat,

the check

on the counter.

his footprints

up

and down

the stairs, his

greasy hands,

everywhere.

i'm tired of plumbing,
