the cup into the well
to quench a thirst
that's never quenched.
tomorrow
we will want more.
and the next day too.
no matter how cold
and sweet the water
is going down,
how it feels and fills
us with lifes waters,
there is always
the need for one more.
one more cup
to see us through.
