this zipper
will not pull, neither up
nor down.
it's stuck
in place
around three inches
from my neck.
I will wear this coat
forever it seems.
warm in the winter,
sweating all
summer.
I will sleep in it.
wear it to the beach.
I will be known as
the man
in the coat.
