I feel no more
wise
than I did a year ago.
or smart.
I feel I've
learned nothing new
over the past
twelve months.
I eat the same food,
read the same
books over
and over again. watch
the same movies
and write the same poems.
my wardrobe is exactly
as it's always
been.
I am still attracted
to long legs
on women.
I have plateaued perhaps,
but finding
it a pleasant place
to be.
