the dead
don't talk
or whisper
or sing
or provide
a clue to let
you know what
lies on
the other side.
that is left
up to me,
to you.
is there happiness
and joy,
are memories
part of
the new vine
growing
beyond the grave,
or is that a wish
that we have,
wanting
death not
to be darkness
but hold
light, and be
kind.
