you cut your chin
shaving
and see what
you are  made of.
blood, it seems
is one of
the main ingredients
it has no
mind of it's
own to stop
once the cut is made
and it finds
an opening
to leave. this
reminds me of you,
but without
the kleenex
and the slow
red drip
into the sink.
