feng shui

i move a chair
against
the wall away
from the window
because i want to.
i am stirring
things up,
living
dangerously
in this late
stage of
my life.
the chair has been
there for years,
perfectly positioned,
comfy in the corner
by the floor lamp,
just right
for watching
tv, or to read in.
i'm willing
to take a chance,
to see things in
a different light.
but this only
last for an hour or
so before i
move it back.
