two circles

the geometry
of us is such
that no two
lines ever
intersect. we
are circles
unto ourselves,
drawn in such
a way, that
we can't escape
who we are,
who we have
become. what lies
within can't
get out,
and what lies
on the outside
can't get in.
so what can we do,
having fallen
in love as
we have,
but roll and roll
along and hope
that that's enough.
