guilt

catholic guilt
is not unlike having
little sharp pebbles
in your shoes making
you slightly
uncomfortable as
you stroll around
getting in and out
of trouble with
what you say or
think or do. and at
times you'd like to
stop and shake
them out, but you'd
feel guilty about
that too, now
wouldn't you?
