why the corn starch

is there a reason
that I have three unopened bottles
or ray's original
barbeque sauce?
or four boxes of rigatoni,
six cans of soup.
campbells rice and chicken noodle.
two boxes of white rice
from uncle ben?
one wild, the other not so wild.
is there a reason,
to have so much brown
sugar
hardened in the bag,
or flour,
or corn starch?
why for the corn starch?
what is it anyway.
