feeling lonely

your rarely feel
lonely,
but some days
you wish someone you
liked a lot
would show up
and stay the night.
someone who
doesn't talk too
much, with kissing
skills, and knows
her way around
an oven.
someone who doesn't
want to go on and on
about her past,
or future, or how her
pet bird must miss
her and that she has to
get home in order
to feed it pecans
or something.
after a romantic
evening,
in the morning,
but not too early,
you could say
a few things, like
good morning. hello,
how are you today?
coffee, bagel perhaps?
there would be mostly
nodding
smiling. pointing
towards the hall
closet where the towels
are. she would be someone
real easy going, not
grumpy at all,
someone that has to go
home by noon.
