ware,
bent
silver
spoons, and forks.
broken
glasses
where lips
once met,
bottles,
whole
but empty
of wine,
or milk,
hollow bowls
for broth
now stitched
with worms
and mites.
the earth finds
a way
to take back
what it has
given.
