your shirt gets stuck
in the revolving
door, so you go around
and around
for hours and hours.
at first you're dizzy
and disoriented, but
as time goes by
you adjust to
the circular motion
of your new world.
you say hello to people
coming in, and as
they leave, you say
goodbye, asking them
what they bought.
it's strange what one
gets used to when
there is no way out.
