tequila and cake

i fell asleep
in the cake,
full face
frontal slumber
into the plate,
it was german
chocolate and
it was soft
and sweet,
the cherries
stuck to my
forhead and it
was hard to
open my eyes
from the
frosting, but
what a good
sleep it was.
never again with
the tequila.
