talents

you have no
musical talent whatsoever.
you can tap
your feet and hands,
perhaps ring
a cow bell
on cue, but that's
about it.
what someone does
with a violin,
or cello, or set
of drums seems like
magic. impossible
to think in that way,
moving your fingers,
forming notes
that are pleasurable
to your ears.
but you have other
talents and one day
you'll find out
what they are.
