we'd like to believe
that books are apples.
each eaten
will bring us the good
luck of knowledge,
put us on a more civil
road.
that schools
and classes
will slay the beast
that lies within us.
we'd like to think that
teaching is the tool
to understanding,
towards peace.
how right and wrong
we are
so often.
