madness
is a short drive away.
who hasn't
veered
off the road,
crashed through
the detour sign.
we sometimes need a wreck
or two
to find the road
again,
to show us
that we need to keep
two hands on
wheel,
stay buckled up
and to keep our mirrors
fixed
to see what's
left behind.
