at this brown egg,
small in the palm of my hand,
despite
the box saying that it's an extra
large
farm raised,
free range,
organic egg.
it's the size of a pigeon's egg.
i need to crack about
five of them
to make
a decent sandwich,
once fried
in the frying pan.
