a weird day. people were actually
smiling,
they seemed happy
for no
reason at all.
they were polite
and courteous.
they said hello when walking by.
tipped their
hat,
or nodded,
saying things like,
nice day,
isn't it?
or, enjoy your walk.
i wondered if i should go home
right away,
feeling that
something bad was about
to happen.
