the new roads,
paved hot and thick
with tar and steel
and jersey walls
will improve
the traffic
flow. i read it
on the news. they will
untie the jams,
gridlock, when rush
hours linger longer
than they should.
snow and rain will
not be a problem
anymore when the
cloverleafs appear,
the double road arises
from the debris,
the triple lanes,
the extra exit.
the wide sweet ramp
to heaven will
save us time, get
us home. we will
be happy then, we
will finally have
arrived.
