we can't leave anything alone.
we dig
up the bodies,
release the files,
we rummage
through history
trying to make it
right, or better
than what we though it
was, or worse.
we have nothing better
to do
than
remake the dead,
to shine a brighter
light on what was,
not what's coming ahead.
