the cow
is only eating free range
grass,
corn and oats
grown without
chemicals
to make her large and fat.
its a good life,
for awhile,
the blue skies,
the endless plain
rolling green along
the hillside,
the sun
warming her
soft white hide.
she could stand there
forever
if she had a say
in it.
