the math of love
is hard.
the equations are mysterious
and vague.
it takes
a large black board
and boxes of white chalk
to figure out
exactly how it
all works.
even then the answer
is nebulous.
how to bring two people
from different
planets
together, to keep
them together
in an orbit
around one another
without crashing,
or falling from the sky.
how to be one
without being one
and losing both.
