when someone calls

asks, by name,

name, and you say
yes. yes it is.
how can I help you
deep voiced mysterious
person?
then they hang up.
you try to call back,
but the line is dead,
the number disconnected.
it's a strange world
of cat and mouse
we are living in.
it's so hard to know
which one you are
sometimes.
