friends

at times
it's impossible
to please
every star
in the sky
with a name,
or a wish
upon it's
flashing
cold light
against
the blackness
of night, so
why try.
sometimes it's
just easier
to take them
all in
with a broad
brush of like,
and count
them as one,
at least
for now.
